Will Semmes

Will Semmes is Chief Deputy Director of California's Department of
General Services.  It is his job to develop strategy and oversee
operations of DGS Real Estate & Asset Management (3,000 civil service
and appointed staff, $600 million operating budget) including Real
Estate Services, the State Architect, Public School Construction, Fleet
Management, State Publishing, and the DGS Green Team.  Prior to DGS,
Will was Director of the California Conservation Corps, a department in
the Resources Agency.  Will is a former entrepreneur, having co-founded
Acumins, Inc., an online custom vitamin company during the dotcom era.
Prior to that he served as an infantry platoon commander in the
Marines.
