Papalii Failautusi Avegalio, Ph.D.
Papalii Dr. Failautusi Avegalio is Director of the Pacific Business Center Program (PBCP) a national award-winning program at the UH Shidler College of Business Administration. He is also the Executive Director of the recently established UH Honolulu Minority Enterprise Business Development Center and he was the first tenured track business professor from Oceania to UH and recognized by Pacific Magazine as one of the success stories of Pacific Islanders in the State. He was a visiting research scholar for the East West Center PIDP, and served on the faculties of the Japanese American Institute for Management Science (JAIMS), the Japanese Executive MBA (JEMBA) program and the Pacific Asia Management Institute (PAMI). Dr. Tusi received his EdD from Brigham Young University, Utah; his Master of Arts degree from Truman State University of Missouri; his Bachelor of Arts degree and Bachelors of Science degree from Emporia State University of Kansas, and his high school diploma from Fia Iloa High School in Pago Pago, American Samoa.
