Andrew Aoki
Andrew Aoki works for Kanu Hawai'i, which engages individuals and organizes
communities to create a sustainable and just future. His past experiences
include co-founding the public-interest consulting and research firm 3Point;
co-founding the educational nonprofit College Connections Hawai'i;
overseeing grant making for the HMSA Foundation; analyzing state agencies
for the Hawai'i State Auditor; directing youth programs for the YMCA of
Honolulu; and other current and past public service activities in Hawai'i.
He has a bachelor's degree in political science from Stanford University, a
juris doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, and a master of
public policy specializing in economic development, social policy, and state
government from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Andrew is part of the fourth generation of his family to call Hawai'i home.
He grew up in Moanalua Valley and now lives in Kailua with his wife and two
young children.
